Today is the the day where i feel all good inside after such a long time.

Supposed to be studying but then fuck all this education dipshits.

Anyway, I was doing my research for my Effective Comms module ICA speech. The topic that i think i will be doing is about a person I admire most.  Read about them all from Saladin to Che Guevara to Luther King to Hitler and a few more. . In the end, I conclude that Mahatma Gandhi is the person i will gonna talk about. Brainwashed the class with some Propagandhi.haha.

When I was researching about them, I sidetrack and end up wasting 45 minutes reading about Tianemen Square Masscare in 1989.

Below is a brief description about the Incident. Source from Wiki.

The Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 culminating in the Tiananmen Square Massacre were a series of demonstrations in and near Tiananmen Square in Beijing in the People's Republic of China (PRC) beginning on April 14. Led mainly by students and intellectuals, the protests occurred in a year that saw the collapse of a number of communist governments around the world.

The protests lacked a unified cause or leadership, participants were generally against the government's authoritarianism and voiced calls for economic change and democratic reform within the structure of the government.

The movement lasted seven weeks from on 15 April until tanks cleared Tiananmen Square on 4 June. In Beijing, the resulting military response to the protesters by the PRC government left many civilians dead.The official death toll according to the Chinese government was 200 to 300, but Chinese student associations and the Chinese Red Cross reported 2000 to 3000 deaths.
 

OK, Now we move on to international reaction, basically, DEMOCRATIC* countries will condemn the events.

Some Countries that Condemn

 Australia: The Prime Minister, Bob Hawke, wept at a memorial service in the Great Hall in Parliament. The Australian government granted Chinese students a four year amnesty to stay in Australia.

 Japan: The Japanese government called the response "intolerable" and froze loans to China. Japan was also the first member of the G7 to restore high level relations with China in the following months.

 Poland: The Polish government criticised the response of the Chinese government but not the government itself. A government spokesman called the incident "tragic", with "sincere sympathy for the families of those killed and injured.

 South Korea: The Foreign Ministry expressed "grave concern" and hoped for no further deterioration of the situation. The statement also encouraged dialogue to resolve the issue peacefully.

 United Kingdom: Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher expressed "utter revulsion and outrage", and was "appalled by the indiscriminate shooting of unarmed people." She promised to relax immigration laws for Hong Kong residents.

 Burma: The junta supported the actions of the Chinese government

 Czechoslovakia: The government of Czechoslovakia supported the Chinese governments response, expressing the idea that China would overcome its problems and further develop socialism.

 Kuwait: Kuwait voiced understanding of the measures taken by the Chinese authorities to protect social stability

What do Singapore got say? A country that pledge by being united regardless of race and religion , being a DEMOCRATIC* society based on justice and equality??

A definition during lecture make me somehow think for a while.

The teacher were explaining about labour-intensive industry.

He say that in Singapore we could not use Labour-Intensive methods for doing businesses because labours are expensive here. Then he say something about importing foreign workers because they are cheaper and thus, we can maximise our profit.

He also explain that to exploit labour-intensive industry, we are recommended to set up business in Third - World Countries and where the population is large and the people are poor.

And he then continue explaining about how Minister Mentor as make Singapore economy what it is today.

I am beginning to hate Microeconomics.

Anyway, went for Orientation for two days, As always, we play all those stupid ice-breaking games. Nevertheless it was fun except that my skin colour is getting darker due to the sun.This few days, its getting hotter day by day sia. If you realize ar. And hate people calling us 'Freshie'. As I was reading the newspaper, one of the article caught my attention. It's is about MM telling foreigners that they are welcome in Singapore and there are many opportunities for them here if they become Singapore citizen and that we Singaporean citizens will welcome them with open arms.

I was thinking, is that man speaking for the whole of Singapore or for himself? Because in my opinion, I feel he is speaking for himself.

Just look around, they are many foreigners taking over Singapore slowly. It really bothers me that most of them soon will may choose the idea of becoming Singapore citizens. Seriously, the day were gone when they have to wait up to 10 years to get a Singapore Citizenship. Now, its just take them 2 years to get it.

I dont mind having new citizen from different countries, but giving an estimated 2500 citizenship nearly every month mostly from China pisses me off. Do you think that most of them care when they take the oath or say the Singapore pledge? Do they even know how to sing the National Anthem? Do they even know what Majulah Singapura even mean?

Seriously, where is the privilege of being a local Singaporean?

And yet, they expect us to join the National Service? Honestly I don't feel the sense of patriotism.

Tell me ? What are we defending? Foreigners cum so - called Singapore Citizens?

I rather migrate to another country then defend this Island.

Why would i want to protect a goverment that does not care about its local people?

Why would I want to protect a goverment that care only in making money?

Why would I would to protect a government that bring in new citizens like nobody business so that the population will not decline due to some failed two - child policy?

I rather defend my pride and dignity.

I think that Anti-Flag somehow went to university to study Politics and Social Humanities because most of the lyrics are not nonsense and mostly educative. New day , New Post.

Working today makes me politically motivated. Prepare for a long entry.

Bottomline , Today I was suppose to work at Baggage Transfer Area from 6.30 am to 10.30am. Unfortunately, due to some unforseen circumstances, my supervisor tell me they need another worker at Arrival. Arrival is not that tedious anyway, however the working hours is from 6.30 am to 5.30 pm sia. Supervisor as usual, make a very pitiful face such that if i never help him cover, the world will end tomorrow. Anyway, i got nothing to lose , get more money, quite slack and hope 11 hours will pass quickly.

As I went there, Three uncles welcome me there, found out the person i am covering got a last minute medical check up. Quite a fun bunch of people. Keep asking me if i have eaten , tell me where to rest and make stupid jokes which are funny.

Then come the interesting part,

I was chatting with them, when they talk about thier CPF and stuff, which lead to talking about Singapore. We talk about a whole lot of stuff if I were to say it here. I will sure be sue for libel defamation. hahaha. The uncles told me they were actually glad they someone as young as me also know about all the bad stuff that the goverment did. Then i ask them, why that during your time, you all don't dare to stand up and they say that they can't afford to have some people to knock at thier door at 3 am  to take them away never to be seen again.

Then the uncles told me that they see me as one of the people that will rise up against the goverment because of the hatred i let out against them, Yet, they remain skeptical because not everyone is like me and the goverment is still powerful as ever. And I tell them , dont worry uncle, the internet is the new media, people now dare to speak up, people my age do realize. In 10 years time, thousands of people will dare themselves to join a peaceful protest on the streets. Don't tell me they going to lock up five thousand people in prison anyway.

Then come the emotional part,

They say changes can be seen soon if that SOMEONE died.They hope it will happen by 2010 and can see it happening in five years time if what i say is true about the new generation of Singapoerans.Because they say they are not sure if they can wait for another 10-15 years to see that moment because they may be dead already.

Let's hope they can see the day, where thousand of people, young and old , hand in hand marching together and protesting peacefully through the street.

It's all started with FACEBOOK, someone was promoting some sort of a 3D Chat Room called IMVU. So you can create your own model and stuff's and roaming about in the virtual world doing activities and chatting people up . Everything was cool until you can also do virtual activity such as praying ( Muslim Context ). I don't mind if if show praying and being a muslim in a correct way, but they were making a mockery out of it . One example was that a girl was shown praying wearing something inapproriate. Called me a staunch conservative whatsoever but just look at the pic.




They were others too but let's put that aside. I don't care if you are fucking yourself, fucking the minister. That's your fucking freedom. But I believe that this two things should have a limit. RACE and RELIGION. If we ourselves can't respect our own religion and race, how do others respect us? I'm not trying to be a preacher here, damm, i am not that pious anyway, i did not pray five times a day even if i could but there is limit. There is a clear borderline between joke and sensitivity. Unfortunately, many people can't see it.

Is this how we gonna teach the future generation? Even those people commenting on the video say nothing to condemm it, Instead they love it ! Guess that how it goes. I bet in 10 years time , a hadith will be edict that people can pray in a virtual world of some sort. Islam will dissapear slowly. Nowdays, people don't know the five pillars of Islam and how to pray, but they sure know what is forbid in Islam, for example, i despise people who never do thier prayers, thier answer? I can't go friday prayers ah. I just drink yesterday.. So i can't pray for 40 days. How ironic! Fucking despise them. Just like what Ahmed Ahmed say,  Define haram - you can drink alcohol and have sex but you cant it pork !

This what happen when people have no faith and were searching desperately for it. Thank Allah for i do have faith, I have seen it , feel it and believe it. There is no doubt anymore. I am glad that I can die peacefully.

Guess this is a new era. The Dajjals of the future. May we be lead to the right path.

Anyway , education in Singapore suck big time in my opinion. We as a society in Singapore is really pathetic. From the day we start school the propanganda machine has already start churning. You can't blame us students anyway, six years of singing the national anthem and taking the pledge , maybe another four years in secondary school, two more years if you are in national service. That could totally brainwashed someone in becoming a robot with no fucking opinion!

In Singapore, our goal is to study study study even if does not interest us we still have to fucking studies. Then what? work till you die? mind you, we only get our retirement fund when we are 72. If you die before that, your hard - earned money will be gone to you - know - who. Honestly many people think CPF is created so people will have reitrement money to enjoy when they are old. But seriously,  CPF is actuaslly used to pay our mortages of ur house and medical fees so you - know - who will not run out of money.

Back to education, Singapore is consider one of the most literate and educated countries in the world. That must be something to be proud of..But , then i realise something , why our country doest not have world - class talent such as a famous inventor , top sportsman , famous scientist and people that win awards such as the Nobel Peace Prize? Because in most countries , the students study what they like and what interest them thus it motivates them to do greater things for the society. Unlike Singapore , people dont care what you are interested in, they are interested in you getting A's for your exam. Be the best of the best!..if your not the best , they don't care about you!

Bottomline , even though we are educated , Why we still need FOREIGN TALENT to lead us?? Because 90% of Singaporeans are robots who do what their MASTER ask them to do. My advice , if you have the money and relatives overseas go out of Singapore and study what you like and interest you, do not study something you dislike. We really need to wake up our ideas.
